Preferred File Formats:

Scanned artwork should be submitted in a vector art format and colored correctly in a program such as illustrator or a compatible program.

Create outlines on all text in the artwork files provided. If this is not possible submit bitmaps scanned at 800 dpi minimum, 1200 dpi is preferred.

For Calendars: Photographs need to be saved in TIFF, EPS, or JPEG format (scanned at 300dpi or higher).

Media Formats We Will Accept:

• 100 MB Zip Disk
• 250 MB Zip Disk
• CD-ROM & DVD
• E-mail (archiving in WinZip or Stuffit is recommended for files over 2MB)

Use of Artwork Pulled From Web pages:

We cannot accept artwork used from Web sites or that originates on the internet. These files carry a resolution of 72 dpi which does not represent a quality level that is acceptable.

Film/Plate Requirements:

• Include all screen and printer fonts.
• Include all artwork files.
• Include all embedded art files.
• Include color break or blend instructions.
• 9pt. text or greater.

Picture files saved CMYK format with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
Artwork lines should not be thinner than .5pts. (do not use hairline rules).
Scans to be done as close as possible to actual size.

Use of Trap:

Standard trap is .35 pts.
Use a 1 pt. stroke when providing illustrator files.
